On Monday, November 11, 2019, the front of the school will be decorated with American flags and staked posters with individual photos of WSSA family veterans. This is part of our patriotic celebration of Veterans Day.
Casual dress days are held approximately once a month. Students may wear non-uniform clothing that complies with the following guidelines. The proceeds are used for in-school or community projects.
All clothing must be appropriate and may not have drugs, alcohol, or inappropriate slogans.
No wearing inappropriate shirts.
Footwear - No flip-flops or house slippers and heel heights must be less than two inches.
Tight or baggy pants/shorts are not acceptable.
Tank tops, sleeveless shirts, and torn/frayed clothing are not acceptable.
Shorts/skirts - no shorter than three inches above the knee
Headmaster or Head of School holds the final judgment on attire. A phone call home for appropriate clothing will be made.
Every year, our students participate in the Middle/Upper School Annual Bowl-A-Thon Fundraiser, the Bowl-A-Thon is the students’ contribution to the Winston Annual Fund, and all proceeds will be applied to support programs within the school. The faculty and students are looking forward to this great event!
