The donation of a customized digital media lab by community leader SBC, to The Winston School San Antonio, represents SBC's commitment to educational support for all children. The SBC Media Lab is custom-designed with industry-standard software to teach marketable skills in video production, graphic design and publishing.

The SBC Lab's capabilities expand the scope and depth of The Winston School San Antonio's (WSSA) program. The lab enables students to videotape, edit and produce professional quality publications and productions. Students will immediately begin their video production and graphic design portfolios by assuming production of all the school's LD informational workshops and student publications.

The Winston School San Antonio is a magnet for students from across the country who have been referred by medical specialists in the field of learning disabilities. In an effort to serve as a resource and model to the LD community, WSSA continually seeks to enhance curriculum incorporating recent advances in a variety of fields, especially technology.

Established in 1985, WSSA is a non-profit K–12 school that advocates for students who learn differently. The school has earned full accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS). The Winston School San Antonio is located in the South Texas Medical Center.
