Cookie sales to benefit BAMC Family Assistance Center.

Winston School San Antonio 4th & 5th graders and their Madison House “Elder Buddies” to decorate cookies to be sold over the weekend.

 

 

What:         Cookie Decorating at Madison House (also known as The Madison).

 

Who:           4th & 5th graders from The Winston School San Antonio and their Madison “Elder Buddies.”  The group dubbed “The High Five Club” meets regularly at Madison and Winston.

 

Where:       Madison House (also known as The Madison)

When:         1 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Why:          Winston School & The Madison House are partnering to foster inter-generational contact between seniors and lower school students.  Among their projects is raising money to support the Family Assistance Center at BAMC.  The cookies decorated on Tuesday will be sold through the coming weekend at The Madison to residents and visitors.

 

 

Ø      The Winston School San Antonio is a fully accredited, independent, non profit school educating children in grades K – 12 who learn differently or who have diagnosed learning disorders.  WSSA is celebrating 21 years of academic excellence.

 

Ø     Madison House is a retirement residence located in the Medical Center area of San Antonio. The Madison, as it is known locally, brings its 180 independent seniors a wonderful feeling of being at home with family.  Current residents are age 60 to 95.
