The Winston School San Antonio to honor memory of those who died on Sept. 11, 2001. 

Patriot Day program to focus on History of American Flag.

 

Pete Van de Putte, vexillologist and Dixie Flag Co. president,

to speak to students at 2 p.m., Mon, Sept. 11, 2006.

 

What:         Special all-school assembly to mark Patriot’s Day, the national day of remembrance to honor the memory of those who died on September 11, 2001.

 

Who:           Pete Van de Putte, Vexillologist, Dixie Flag Co. President.

Winston student body, faculty and staff.

 

Where:       The Winston School San Antonio, 8565 Ewing Halsell, 78229

                   (Just off Wurzbach in the Medical Center)

 

When:          2 p.m. – 3 p.m., Monday, September 11, 2006

 

Why:           To honor the memory of those who died on 9.11.01 and to educate students, faculty and staff on the history of the American Flag in a salute to Patriot’s Day.  Van de pute will donate a large American Flag to Winston.

 

The Winston School San Antonio is an independent, non profit school specializing in teaching children in grades K – 12 who learn differently or who have diagnosed learning disorders.  WSSA is celebrating 21 years of academic excellence.
