Junior Meeting: 6:00 – 6:50 p.m., Students who are juniors
and their parents will meet with Mr. Yocham and Ms. Hall to talk about senior
year, schedules, transcripts, college information, SAT/ACT, high school
credits, etc.

Life After Winston: 7:00 – 8:00
p.m., Dr. Charles J. Karulak will moderate a panel of Winston alumni who will
speak about their life experiences after Winston. Jeri Moravits, Board member and a parent of a
recent graduate, will share experiences and advice on her son’s first year of
college.

Worth the Wait Parent Meeting: 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., This meeting
will address the curriculum that will be taught to 6th, 7th,
8th, 9th graders and any new high school students. Worth the Wait is a sex education program
which is sponsored by the UTHSCSA. Staff
from UTHSCSA will be at this meeting to answer any questions parents may have
about the program.
Thursday, March 13
“Understanding and Helping the Learning Disabled Child”: 7:00
– 8:00 p.m., This is a follow-up presentation to the learning disability
simulation that was held on September 29, 2007 and will be presented by the
graduate students in the School Psychology Program at Trinity University. An overview of learning disabilities will be
presented as well as specific strategies to help students with learning
disabilities be more successful in school.

“Living in a Post IDEA 2004 World: The Role of Neurocognitive
Assessment”: 7:00 – 8:00 p.m., Dr. Louise O’Donnell
