The purpose of the WSSA chapter of the National Beta Club is to reward merit, encourage effort and promote high ideals among students. Nominations are made by the faculty and are based on character, service, leadership, citizenship and scholarship (GPA of at least 85). Members are expected to participate in service projects and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 85.
