Uniforms -
Acceptable
Boys
§
Boys may wear traditional khaki pants or walking shorts
with only brown or black belts. Shirts
must be monogrammed with the school logo and may be either blue or white
polo-style and purchased only through a school approved uniform vendor. In addition, shirts must be tucked in at all
times.
§
Footwear will consist of tennis shoes for lower school
students. Middle school and high school
boys may wear tennis shoes or non-marking, soft-soled deck shoes or
loafers. Socks must be worn with all
shoes.
Girls
§
Girls may wear a variety of uniform styles, available in
either plaid or khaki, and purchased through a school
approved uniform vendor. Hem lengths may
be no shorter than 3” above the knee. In
addition, girls may wear traditional khaki pants, shorts, or skorts (not purchased through the uniform vendor). Shirts may either be a polo-style shirt that
is worn tucked in with only black or brown belts or a sport-collar over-blouse,
which may be worn untucked. Both shirt styles must be purchased through a
school approved uniform company and monogrammed with the school logo.

students. Middle and high school girls
may wear tennis shoes or non-marking, soft-soled shoes with closed backs and
toes. Socks must be worn with all shoes
and heel heights must be under 1”.
Uniforms – Unacceptable
§
Cargo pants or shorts, Capri pants, Khaki colored jeans or
“Hip Huggers”
§
Torn or frayed pants or shorts
§
Pants with zippers on the side or button-fly
§
Pants with flared legs or “bell bottoms”
§
Extremely tight fitting or loose fitting pants or shorts
§
Platform shoes, flip-flops, slippers or house shoes,
open-toed shoes or steel-toed boots.
Outerwear
(both boys and girls) Acceptable
§
Monogrammed, navy sweaters and sweatshirts are available
and must be purchased through a school approved uniform vendor.
§
Plain jackets or coats may be worn to school and when
outside, but not in the classroom.
Outerwear – Unacceptable
§
Coats or jackets with logos or writing of any kind other
than school monogram
§
Pull-over jackets, sweaters or sweatshirts other than
designated school uniform sweaters or sweatshirts
§
Trench coats
Other
§
All student items should be labeled with the student’s
name clearly visible.
§
Headwear (i.e. hats, caps, bandannas, sweatbands) or
sunglasses are not to be worn.
§
Expensive or valuable jewelry is not to be worn. Also, jewelry is not to be worn in
excess. The school and/or school
employee is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Grooming
§
Hair must be clean and well-groomed and faces clean-shaven
(i.e. no unconventional hairstyles or hair color). Boys with long hair must keep it neat and out
of their eyes.
§
Combing hair, applying makeup or nail polish is not
allowed in class.
§
Body piercing is not allowed. Ear adornment of females only.
§
Tattoos must not be visible.
§
Lowerschool
students are not allowed to wear make-up.
Middle & Upper school students’ make-up should be understated and
appropriate.
