Accepting Applications for the 2025-2026 School Year

Inquire now

After exploring our website and social media, complete the Admissions inquiry form. Someone from the Admissions Team will reach out to learn more about your student and provide you with information about all that Winston has to offer.

Send in a full report of Psychoeducational Evaluation conducted within the last three years. This report should include all composite and subtest scores for a comprehensive test of cognitive abilities and a test of achievement skills. It is our practice to review previous assessments before inviting a family to tour the campus. This thorough examination of a child's strengths and weaknesses helps to determine if Winston's services align with a student's needs.

Prospective Winston students must have average to superior intellectual ability and a diagnosed learning difference in one or more of the following areas:

Reading, including dyslexia
Math, including dyscalculia
Written expression, including dysgraphia
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Students who do not have a diagnosed learning difference but are facing academic challenges in a traditional classroom setting may also be considered.

Testing can be sent to the Admissions Office at admissions@winston-sa.org

Prior to applying, we recommend that every family engage in an individualized campus tour where information is shared specific to a student's profile and Winston's program.

On-campus tours are scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Please contact the Admissions Office to schedule your private tour.

After visiting with the Director of Admissions, families may be invited to apply for enrollment. This includes submitting an online application and a non-refundable $150 application fee. Other required materials at the time of application include teacher recommendation forms and report cards and official transcripts, as applicable by grade.

Decisions are made on a rolling basis and may be limited by grade level.

Prospective students are invited to campus for a two-day individualized visit where they experience the Winston difference firsthand. Student visitors are expected to interact with others and participate in classroom activities. Lunch will be served in the dining hall at no charge. A campus visit and interview will be arranged for those applying during the summer months.

Once the admissions committee has reviewed your application, you will be notified of the decision. The Director of Admissions will then work with your family to determine the next steps.

Families wishing to apply for Tuition Assistance should complete the application process as early as possible.
