Teamwork looks a little different when you can't see where you're going. As part of our in-service team building activities, our teachers and staff took on a challenge with a purpose: working together to build backpacks filled with school supplies for families at the Ronald McDonald House San Antonio. One team member at a time was blindfolded and tasked with finding the supplies needed to complete a shopping list, while their teammates provided verbal guidance and encouragement along the way. What started as a fun challenge quickly became a great lesson in communication, trust, collaboration, and teamwork. And best of all, our team-building efforts will make a difference beyond our campus by providing students with supplies they need for the school year. A special thank you to our Ronald McDonald House partner, Lori Shearer, for helping make this service project possible and giving our team the opportunity to support local families. A new chapter begins at Winston! Our Freshman Sunrise yesterday was the perfect way to welcome our newest upper school students and celebrate the start of their high school journey. From watching the sun come up together to building new friendships and creating memories, it was a special morning for our Class of 2030.
