The goal of the College Counseling Program is to ensure our students are developing the academic, social, and executive function skills necessary to succeed as they transition into their chosen postsecondary endeavors. 

The WSSA College & Career Program consists of: Individualized college, scholarship, financial aid, and career guidance, academic planning to ensure that all students complete WSSA's college preparatory curriculum, events such as the WSSA College Fair, MS & US Orientations, College Application Workshops, FAFSA Workshop, Life After Winston, MS & US 101, Senior Celebration Luncheon, etc., the Dual Credit partnership with San Antonio College, SAT and ACT prep and on-campus accommodated test administrations, the College & Career Prep course (required 11th grade), and the Winston CARES Alumni Support Program.
