LOWER SCHOOL
At The Winston School San Antonio, our Lower School creates a foundation for lifelong learning through individualized education that meets each student where they are. We provide a supportive environment where students in grades K-6 develop essential skills in reading, writing, and mathematics while building confidence in their unique abilities.

Students enjoy a structured school day where specialized interventions are seamlessly woven into their daily schedule. Our intensive academic support is delivered in small classes, ensuring personalized attention and optimal learning conditions. Additionally, we emphasize enrichment classes like physical education, art, music, and theater arts, which help students build on their strengths and navigate their learning differences.
Our comprehensive program is grounded in extensive research supporting early and intensive intervention for students who learn differently. We understand that every child has a distinct learning profile, and our holistic approach addresses the whole student through targeted academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and executive function support tailored to individual strengths and needs.
