Kathryn Babel

Mrs. Kathryn Babel has been with WSSA since 2024. Prior to joining WSSA, she worked as a 5th through 8th Grade English, Reading, and History teacher at St. Thomas More Catholic School. Here she was, the recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award for the school and the runner-up for the entire district. Mrs. Babel has been teaching for 8 years and has taught 5th through 8th English, Reading, and History. She graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Child Psychology. She also has her teaching certification in both General and Special Education. At Winston, she co-heads the Debate Club. When she is not teaching, Mrs. Babel enjoys power lifting, reading, and traveling.
