The Winston School is proud to present the next installment of The Winston Learning Series: Experience Dyslexia® — A Learning Disabilities Simulation. This interactive, hands-on workshop offers participants a glimpse into the challenges, frustrations, and experiences that students with reading and language-based learning differences may encounter in the classroom and beyond. The goal isn't simply to learn about dyslexia, it's to gain a deeper understanding of what it can feel like to navigate a world that isn't always designed for the way you learn. We hope this experience inspires greater empathy, understanding, and advocacy for individuals with learning differences. Sometimes building a strong team starts with simply getting to know one another a little better. During our most recent staff meeting, our faculty and staff took a break from the usual agenda to play a game of Never Have I Ever. While the game itself was lighthearted, the questions sparked conversations, laughter, and moments of connection that gave us an opportunity to learn a little more about the people we work alongside every day. Building a strong school community isn't only about what happens in the classroom. It's also about knowing, understanding, and appreciating the people who make up our team.
